What do pushers do?
The brushes under purifier sieves do not move by themselves; they are driven back and forth by a carrier and pusher system. Semolina purifier brush pushers are the plastic parts that hold the brush and pass the motion from the sieve box vibration or drive mechanism to it. Whether the brush travels smoothly, evenly and without catching depends on these parts.
Why plastic?
- Light weight: reduces moving mass so the brush moves easily.
- Low friction: slides easily on the sieve box guides.
- Food safety and no corrosion: safe to use where product contact occurs.
Why pushers break
- Plastic fatigue and hardening after long use,
- Overload when a brush catches or jams in the sieve box,
- Higher friction from product building up on the guides.
A broken pusher makes the brush stop or travel skewed; the sieve blinds in that area and purifier performance drops. Regular checks matter so broken pieces do not get into the product.
Maintenance tips
Inspect pushers when changing brushes and replace any that are cracked, broken or badly worn. Clean the guides. Renewing pushers and brushes together keeps the system working in harmony. Send us your purifier model and we will supply the right pushers together with brushes.
